Franzburg (dpa/mv) – A young driver in the Vorpommern-Rügen district was seriously injured in a collision with an adult wild boar. As a police spokesman said on Monday, the 25-year-old’s car collided with the black coat on Sunday between Franzburg and Abtshagen. The woman was taken to a hospital by ambulance. Her car was badly damaged, no longer drivable and had to be taken away by a towing service. The wild animal did not survive the collision on Landesstraße 222, it died on the road.
