Grabow (dpa / mv) – The police in West Mecklenburg are investigating a 30-year-old woman who is said to have attacked and injured her ex-boyfriend with a knife. The 34-year-old victim from Grabow (Ludwigslust-Parchim) was so badly injured in the incident on Wednesday morning that he was taken to a clinic, a police spokesman said on Wednesday in Ludwigslust. The police referred to cuts on the arms and legs.
The incident is said to have happened in the morning in the 34-year-old’s apartment. According to the police, the woman and another man had gained access to the apartment without being asked. Then there was a dispute, which is said to have been about money. The exact motive is not yet clear.
The woman and her acquaintance fled. A friend of the victim called the police. The 30-year-old was later caught in Rastow near Schwerin, about 30 kilometers away. There is a suspicion of dangerous bodily harm. Perpetrators and victims are known to the police for other crimes, such as those related to drugs.
