Reports our France Bleu Gard Lozere colleagues, a man in his thirties, was shot to death Tuesday evening in Mas de Mingue in Nimes (Gard).
The firefighters found the body in the public highway after being notified by an anonymous call at 11:30 p.m. They took care of the victim who had been shot several times and transported him to the ambulance before he died.
France Bleu reports that the man was suspected of drug trafficking. To determine the cause of death, an autopsy will be performed this week.
The investigation was conducted by the Nimes judicial police. Eric Maurel (prosecutor of Nimes), stated that there are no witnesses right now, and the investigation is just beginning to our colleagues from France3 Occitanie.
