Netflix adds to the fashion of rising prices as soon as it has consolidated a subscriber base. The streaming video platform will increase between one and two euros its standard and premium plans in Spain, the most popular, within the overall price hike to be applied in the United States and other countries where it operates.
In Spain, the price of the basic package is maintained in 7.99 euros, while the standard with HD content and with two simultaneous devices raises a euro up to 10.99 euros and the Premium with Ultra HD content and up to four simultaneous devices goes up two euros, to the 13.99 euros.
New pricing plans will be applied from today to new customers who contract the service. Those who are already users will also be priced after 30 days since they receive notification. The first notices will arrive on October 19 so the increase will be effective from November for all customers.
