Dortmund (dpa / lnw) – A mentally disturbed man is said to have tried to stab a 30-year-old woman with a kitchen knife in Dortmund. The woman was seriously injured with three stitches, police and prosecutors said on Thursday. She was taken to the hospital, her life is not in danger.
The 46-year-old was arrested without resistance after the crime on Wednesday afternoon. He was due to be examined by a psychiatric expert on Thursday. A homicide commission is investigating the background.
