Borken (dpa/lnw) – Around 800 pigs were killed in a fire in a barn in Borken in western Münsterland on Wednesday. As the police announced on Thursday, the fire caused property damage of around 350,000 euros. The police assume that the cause was a technical defect. According to the announcement, police experts and an expert found no evidence of third-party fault or negligent behavior during their initial investigations at the scene of the fire.
