Rheinberg (dpa / lnw) – An 82-year-old driver drove into a tree near Rheinberg in the Wesel district and died of his injuries. The 82-year-old left the road on Saturday evening on the B57 in the direction of Rheinberg for reasons that have not yet been clarified, as the police announced on Sunday night. The man succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The vehicle was also severely damaged by the impact. Because of the accident recording, the B57 between the streets Alte Landstraße and Plißstraße was initially completely closed.
