Bochum (dpa / lnw) – Because of a possible racist background, the state security is investigating a bodily harm crime. Early on Sunday morning, a 28-year-old man said he was walking on a street towards Bochum main station when he was racially insulted by a group of five to six people because of his origin. When he spoke to the people about it, they brought him to the ground and kicked him, the police said on Monday. The 28-year-old was slightly injured.
The alleged perpetrators are said to have worn blue football shirts. One of them was “a little bigger” and had a black jacket with him. The police are now looking for witnesses to the incident.
