Münster/Hamm (dpa/lnw) – Train travelers and commuters in the Münsterland region have to be prepared for diversions and rail replacement services in March. Between March 4th and 11th, Deutsche Bahn is renovating tracks, points and cables on the route between Münster and Hamm. According to the announcement from Monday, the IC connection in long-distance traffic between Frankfurt and Münster as well as Norddeich Mole and regional traffic are affected. Depending on the section, the operators Eurobahn and National Express set up rail replacement bus services for the RB69/89 and the RE7 lines.
Deutsche Bahn asks commuters and travelers to find out about changes to the timetable before they start their journey. Deutsche Bahn is investing 1.2 million euros in the construction work.
