Münster (dpa / lnw) – After a burglary in a jewelry store in downtown Münster, the investigations are still in full swing. “We are urgently looking for witnesses,” said a police spokeswoman on Wednesday. At the weekend, previously unknown perpetrators broke into the store through a side wall between Saturday evening and Monday morning. According to the previous investigations, they got through the scaffolding of a construction site through an open window into the stairwell of the building on Prinzipalmarkt. There they pried open a stone wall and drilled through the back walls of the display cases. They took jewelry and several watches.
According to consistent media reports, the damage is said to be around 200,000 euros. The police do not confirm the sum.
