Goch (dpa / lnw) – After a technical defect, a small car burst into flames on a federal highway near Goch on the Lower Rhine on Thursday evening. According to the Kleve district police, the driver stopped the vehicle in good time and left the car with a child unharmed. Despite the rapid intervention of the fire brigade, the body burned out completely. The flames also spread to the embankment. During the extinguishing work, the B504 from Kranenburg to Goch near the border with the Netherlands was completely blocked.
