Rheinberg (dpa / lnw) – An 82-year-old man died in a car accident in Rheinberg (Wesel district). The pensioner crashed his car into a tree late on Saturday evening after veering off the road to the right for reasons that are still unclear. In the wreck he succumbed to his serious injuries at the scene of the accident, as the Wesel police announced on Sunday. The man from Moers had therefore been traveling alone.
