Rheinberg (dpa / lnw) – Small amounts of chlorine gas escaped on the premises of a chemical plant in Rheinberg (Wesel district) on Saturday morning. According to the police, the reason was a leaky pipe. It was sealed by emergency services from the works fire brigade and the Rheinberg fire brigade, it said. So nobody was injured. It was not initially known what caused the leak.
