Bielefeld (dpa / lnw) – During a vehicle check on the Autobahn 44, the main customs office in Bielefeld seized more than 34 kilograms of drugs. The customs officers found a total of 2,000 grams of amphetamine paste, 5,000 LSD strips, 1,000 grams of ketamine, 1,100 grams of cocaine, 5,000 grams of MDMA and over 57,000 ecstasy pills in a large suitcase and in several plastic bags in the trunk of a checked vehicle, according to the main customs office Bielefeld announced on Monday. The driver, who came from the Netherlands, had previously denied the question of whether he was carrying prohibited items. The vehicle was checked on Monday last week on the A44 at the Berge car park.
