Münster (dpa / lnw) – The dispute over a test and presentation track in the Teutoburg Forest, which has been fought for years, has reached the North Rhine-Westphalian Higher Administrative Court in Münster. According to a spokeswoman, the 8th Senate approved the appeal at the end of February because of its fundamental importance. The Minden Administrative Court had rejected a lawsuit brought by the operator of the “Bilster Berg” route in December 2020. The approved operating capacity may not be expanded so far. In the first instance, higher noise pollution due to more driving on the circuit in Bad Driburg was rejected.

A date for the oral hearing of the appeal process has not yet been set.
