Grevenbroich/Neuss (dpa/lnw) – A free-roaming dog caused a riot on Thursday in Grevenbroich and Neuss. Among other things, the animal was on a country road and the Autobahn 46, the police said. Thanks to numerous location reports from road users, the officials were finally able to catch the slightly injured four-legged friend after one and a half hours and hand them over to their owners. “Miraculously, Cara survived the trip almost unscathed,” the statement said. The police asks not to catch animals that have escaped, especially on the highways, because of the imminent danger.
