Bielefeld (dpa / lnw) – For the first time since the split of Dr. Oetker, the food and beverage group Dr. August Oetker KG presented business figures today. The group split into two business groups in November after decades of dispute over direction.
Since then, the higher-revenue part of the company has been managed by Oetker KG. These include food manufacturers Dr. Oetker (frozen pizzas, baking mixes, pudding) and Coppenrath
Geschwister Oetker Beteiligungen KG took over the sparkling wine manufacturer Henkell/Freixenet, the baking agent manufacturer Martin Braun, the Budenheim chemical plant, several hotels and the August Oetker art collection.
Before the split, around 37,000 people worldwide worked for the Bielefeld-based family company and its subsidiaries. The group achieved sales of more than 7.3 billion euros in 2020.
