North Rhine-Westphalia: drivers trapped under truck trailers

Aachen (dpa / lnw) – At a rest area on Autobahn 44, a man drove his car under a truck trailer and died. The car crashed into the parked truck on Tuesday night for reasons that are still unclear after the driveway to the service area between the Aachen and Aachen-Brand motorway junctions, the police said on Tuesday morning. The car was trapped under the semi-trailer. The man, whose identity was still unclear in the morning, succumbed to his injuries on the spot.
