Kerpen (dpa / lnw) – A drunk driver was seriously injured in an accident in Kerpen (Rhein-Erft district). The 31-year-old lost control of his car in the Langenich district early on Saturday morning and crashed into a parked vehicle, the police said. A resident heard the bang from his house and rushed to help the man. The alarmed rescue workers from the fire brigade then freed the injured person from his deformed car.
