Braunschweig (dpa / lnw) – The Swiss defender Saulo Decarli changes from VfL Bochum to Eintracht Braunschweig. The promoted team in the 2nd Bundesliga signed the 30-year-old central defender on Friday as the first newcomer for the coming season on a free transfer.
“I’m really happy to be back on Hamburger Straße. It feels a bit like coming home,” said Decarli, who played for Eintracht from 2014 to 2017 and this time signed a two-year contract. Decarli switched from Braunschweig to FC Brugge in 2017 and has played for Bochum for the past three years. Last season he only played in one Bundesliga game for VfL.
