Mönchengladbach (dpa / lnw) – A dog fell into a manhole in Mönchengladbach-Hardt and was rescued by the fire brigade. The labrador had not previously been able to free himself – even his master could not help because of the narrowness and depth of the pipe system, as the fire brigade announced on Friday. She sent a colleague into the channel, whom the dog greeted “visibly pleased”. The Labrador was pulled out of the canal with a rescue harness and handed over to his master unharmed.
