Nettetal (dpa / lnw) – During a drug raid in Nettetal on the Lower Rhine, the police arrested five men. Five residential and commercial properties were searched on suspicion of drug trafficking, the police in Viersen said on Wednesday. Significant amounts of cash and drugs were seized during the search on Monday.
However, the arrests were not made for drug offenses, but for violating provisions of the law on foreign nationals: arrest warrants for deportation had been issued against 20 and 27-year-old men. Three other men, aged 20, 22 and 32, are suspected of being in Germany illegally.
