Dusseldorf (dpa / lnw) – Fortuna Dusseldorf’s coach Daniel Thioune is pleased with the football euphoria that has arisen in the city after three competitive wins at the start of the season. “I’m definitely not going to slow it down. It’s fun for everyone. You’re happy when Fortuna is a topic of conversation again,” said Thioune on Thursday. The coach of the second division wants to use the positive mood around the second division: “Something is growing together.”

After two victories at the start of the league, Düsseldorf have to play SV Sandhausen on Friday (6.30 p.m.). Except for the injured Nana Ampomah and Matthias Zimmermann, all players are ready for action. Thioune also expects to be able to use both players again soon. “It won’t take too long,” said the Fortuna coach. “I’m confident that I’ll be able to welcome both of them back to training this month.”
