Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) – As announced, the state of North Rhine-Westphalia will restrict the range of free “citizen tests” from Thursday (June 30). The corresponding regulation was published on Wednesday evening. Children under the age of five, pregnant women, visitors to hospitals, household members of infected people and people who want to test themselves are therefore still entitled to a free test.
The country published the new regulation a few hours before it came into effect, as it had been waiting for the federal regulation. NRW Minister of Health Karl-Josef Laumann (CDU) criticized on Wednesday evening that the specifications in Berlin had been decided “at the last minute”.
