Essen (dpa / lnw) – In North Rhine-Westphalia there is almost no rain in sight for the coming weekend. The German Weather Service (DWD) only expects isolated thunderstorms and a low probability of heavy rain on Saturday night – however, only around 15 liters per square meter are expected within one hour. During the day it will be cloudy with occasional showers and temperatures between 25 and 28 degrees and around 22 degrees in the higher mountains.

On Saturday, the DWD is expecting the last rain showers in the east of the country – later it will be clear and dry throughout the state. It gets warm up to 26 degrees, in high places up to 21 degrees. The night to Sunday remains free of precipitation and rain is not expected on Sunday either.
