Cologne (dpa / lnw) – In Cologne, several hundred people demonstrated against a pro-Russian elevator on Sunday. The alliance “Cologne against the right” and groups like “Grandmas against the right” had called for this. Only around 100 demonstrators came to the pro-Russian rally instead of the 2,000 who had registered. The right-wing extremist Markus Beisicht, who is regularly mentioned in the NRW constitutional protection report, was also on site as a co-applicant. A police spokesman said the events had run smoothly so far. The police were in action with a larger contingent.
