Lennestadt (dpa / lnw) – In Lennestadt, a man died who was hit by a workshop train. The incident happened on Thursday around 50 meters from the train station in the Grevenbrück district, according to a police spokesman. It was initially unclear how the accident in the Olpe district came about. “We’re investigating in all directions.” The criminal police and those responsible for Deutsche Bahn were on site. The driver of the repair train was physically unharmed, but had not yet been heard. Rail traffic was blocked after the incident in the early afternoon.
