Mönchengladbach (dpa / lnw) – An unknown perpetrator injured a man in Mönchengladbach with a stabbing weapon and then fled. But there is no danger to life, the police said. It was initially unclear why the 48-year-old was inflicted with the stab and cut injuries at Tellmann-Platz on Wednesday evening. After the crime, the victim drove home on a scooter and called the emergency services. An ambulance took him to the hospital. The investigators suspect that the perpetrator belongs to the milieu of the local drug trade. Witnesses were asked to contact the police if they had any information.
