Essen (dpa / lnw) – On Friday there could be the first snow in North Rhine-Westphalia. “But he won’t stay put,” said a meteorologist from the German Weather Service (DWD) on Wednesday in Essen. However, with temperatures around the freezing point, it gets noticeably colder. From Friday afternoon, according to the forecast, there will be light snowfall from the east, especially in the mountains. “But after that it’s already over with the rain.”

On Saturday and Sunday it will therefore remain cloudy, but mostly dry. However, the temperatures are still partly in the minus range, and the roads can become slippery in places.
