Rheda-Wiedenbrück (dpa / lnw) – A motorcyclist and his passenger were seriously injured in an accident in Rheda-Wiedenbrück (Gütersloh district). The 29-year-old driver lost control of his machine on Friday evening in the Lintel district for reasons that have not yet been clarified, the police said. The vehicle then crashed into a guardrail. As a result of the impact, the driver and his passenger, his 26-year-old wife, were thrown down an embankment. The two were taken to the hospital by ambulance.
