Mönchengladbach (dpa / lnw) – Borussia Mönchengladbach has prematurely extended the contract with goalkeeper Moritz Nicolas. The 24-year-old, whose contract ran until the summer of 2023, has now signed with the Bundesliga club until June 30, 2026. However, the club wants to loan the goalkeeper, who was last loaned out to third division club Viktoria Köln, again. “We are convinced that he can assert himself with us. Another loan would be important for his further development,” said Borussia’s sporting director Roland Virkus.
