Wuppertal (dpa / lnw) – A 26-year-old nurse in Wuppertal is suspected of having drugged and robbed several residents of the home. He is said to have entrusted the series of crimes to a colleague and boasted about it, police and prosecutors said on Wednesday in Wuppertal. In the most recent case, however, it remained an attempted robbery.
The 26-year-old boasted to his colleague that he drugged a 60-year-old patient on Tuesday with various drugs in order to rob her.
However, the patient in question left her room on a walker before the tablets took effect and then collapsed – apparently under the influence of the medication.
In fact, there had been an unexplained series of thefts in the home in the past, as several criminal charges showed. The public prosecutor’s office requested an arrest warrant against the nurse for attempted aggravated robbery and completed dangerous bodily harm.
