Delbrück (dpa / lnw) – A driver in the Paderborn district probably confused the gas pedal with the brake pedal and fatally injured a pedestrian with his car. According to witnesses, the 81-year-old wanted to stop his car in the parking lot of a supermarket in Delbrück, the police said. Instead, however, he accelerated at a rapid pace. The car hit the 77-year-old pedestrian, who was being dragged on the hood of the car.
