Erkelenz (dpa / lnw) – Two weeks after the violent death of a pensioner in Erkelenz, the perpetrator has not yet been found. The Aachen police and the public prosecutor’s office in Mönchengladbach are looking for witnesses. Anyone who observed suspicious people or vehicles between February 2nd and 3rd should report to the police, according to a statement on Friday. The body of the 83-year-old was found in his apartment. Investigations into the background to the crime and possible motives are ongoing.
