Wesel (dpa / lnw) – Shortly before landing at Weeze Airport, the pilot of a passenger plane was blinded with a laser pointer. The Boing 737 from Tangier (Morocco) flew over Wesel late on Sunday evening when the dangerous intervention in air traffic took place, the police said. After the pilot’s report, an immediate search was carried out, but no suspects were found. The police point out that such use of laser pointers is punishable and can be life-threatening.
