Wuppertal (dpa / lnw) – The police checked several bars and cafes as well as a shisha bar in Wuppertal on Friday evening. The aim of the operation, in which the tax investigators were also involved, was to fight street crime, a police spokesman said on Saturday. During the control of a total of eight objects, the emergency services made six criminal charges – including violations of the Narcotics Act and the tax code. According to the spokesman, the offenses included violations of the Weapons Act. A total of 16 forces were on site during the operation.
