Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) – On Monday afternoon, the motorway police pulled a semi-trailer truck that almost broke through in the middle on the A46 near Neuss. A road user noticed the Belgian truck because it had a conspicuous “arch shape”, the police said on Tuesday. The officials could hardly believe their eyes during the inspection. The main frame of the trailer was torn in the area of ??an axle on both sides. Only a few centimeters would have been missing, then according to the police, the frame could have broken through completely while driving.
The 59-year-old driver had to park the truck on the site of the former Neuss motorway police station. 14 tons of pellets had to be reloaded, the semi-trailer was transported away with a low-loader. Drivers and owners would now have to expect a corresponding display, it said. A security deposit of over 500 euros was charged on site.
