Euskirchen (dpa / lnw) – During searches in Euskirchen, the police seized drugs, weapons, cash, slot machines and bicycles, among other things. Five suspects were provisionally arrested, the police said on Monday. It had yet to be decided whether arrest warrants would also be issued. The weapons were therefore a crossbow, a longbow, several knives and brass knuckles. In addition, “stolen goods” such as perfumes and a built-in safe were found. The officers also secured bicycles, e-bikes, an e-scooter and a smaller cannabis plantation. Investigators found more drugs and cash in the car. The suspects are now being investigated for, among other things, violations of the Narcotics and Weapons Act as well as theft and receiving stolen goods.
In order to check a container on the roof of a suspect, the fire brigade came with a ladder truck. However, the container turned out to be empty.
