Krefeld (dpa / lnw) – In a room fire in an apartment building in Krefeld, a disabled man with burn injuries and smoke poisoning was rescued by the fire brigade. As the fire brigade announced on Sunday, the emergency services found him next to a burning sofa and took him outside via the stairwell. Another resident and a resident were transported to the hospital as a precautionary measure with smoke inhalation, according to a spokesman. The fire did not spread to the other apartments.
