Cologne (dpa / lnw) – In Cologne, there was a violent argument between two competing families of showmen on Sunday evening. According to the police on Monday, two 22 and 39-year-olds involved suffered serious injuries – the older one presumably with a machete. They had to go to the hospital.
The dispute is said to have arisen because one family is said to have removed the other’s advertising posters from street lamps. Some members of the family who hung up the posters observed this and drove towards the opponents at high speed. A baseball bat is said to have been used in the ensuing brawl. The police also confiscated a machete.
