Kleve (dpa / lnw) – A school bus driver from Kleve, who is said to have raped and abused several girls, has been sentenced to four years and nine months in prison. That said a spokeswoman for the Clever district court on Wednesday. The 52-year-old was found guilty of three counts of rape and sexual abuse.

According to the prosecutor’s office, the man committed the crimes on the school bus, in his apartment and at a campsite in the Netherlands. They go back to 2013.

In addition, the prosecution had accused the bus driver of possession of child and youth pornography. This was discovered during a search of his apartment in August 2021. Although the files had been deleted, they could have been reconstructed.

However, the allegation was dropped in view of the much more serious allegations of rape and abuse. The verdict is not yet legally binding.
