Mönchengladbach (dpa / lnw) – The district court in Mönchengladbach has sentenced two men to seven years in prison for attempted murder and incitement to do so. In the judgment handed down on Friday, the judges were convinced that the 32-year-old accused had shot at the moving car of a former colleague in February, as a court spokesman confirmed on Monday. Several media reported.
The driver of the car is said to have been involved in the dismissal of the 53-year-old defendant. According to the conviction of the court, the father of the family had instigated his younger colleague, the co-defendant, to commit the crime. The verdict is not yet legally binding.
The 53-year-old was fired shortly before the crime for sexual harassment at work. The victim was not injured in the shooting.
