Essen (dpa / lnw) – A mix of clouds, rain and cold temperatures will determine the weather in North Rhine-Westphalia in the coming days. The German Weather Service (DWD) in Essen announced that it was mostly cloudy on Thursday morning. It will loosen up during the day, but isolated showers are possible. The temperatures will rise to a maximum of one to five degrees. In the mountains, the meteorologists expect some snow and permafrost between minus two and zero degrees. In the night to Friday it loosens up increasingly. Fog and ice can form locally. The temperatures drop to minus one to minus four degrees.
Friday starts with fog, which will clear up in the course of the morning. According to the DWD, it will be mostly cloudy and dry during the day with maximum temperatures between one and three degrees.
