Bad Oeynhausen (dpa / lnw) – Free concert in the open air: The North Rhine-Westphalian state government invites all citizens to the Kurpark Bad Oeynhausen for this Saturday. As the Düsseldorf State Chancellery announced, in the evening (8:15 p.m.) the Northwest German Philharmonic Orchestra with international soloists will play classic, opera and musical hits for around 90 minutes in front of the backdrop of the Imperial Palace.
Admission is free. There is no need to book tickets or reserve seats in advance. Food, picnic blankets or camping chairs may be brought along. Food and drinks can also be purchased on site. For the first time this year, the summer concert will be broadcast live by Westdeutscher Rundfunk.
The guests of honor at the summer concert also include many volunteers who have worked, among other things, as flood aid workers or in refugee aid for Ukrainians. They are welcomed by Prime Minister Hendrik Wüst (CDU).
