Wuppertal (dpa / lnw) – An overturned truck caused traffic jams during rush hour in Wuppertal on Tuesday morning. As the police in Düsseldorf announced, a truck driver noticed around 1:50 a.m. that there was an unlit car in the left lane of Autobahn 46. The man braked and steered his vehicle past it. However, his team staggered and overturned. The 42-year-old driver was seriously injured.
The 37-year-old driver of the unlit car had to give a blood sample. She may have crashed her car into the side of the freeway while intoxicated. After the accident, a larger field of debris had to be cleared on the section of the Autobahn in the center of Wuppertal.
