Rüthen (dpa / lnw) – When two cars collided on the federal highway 516 in Rüthen (Soest district), both drivers were seriously injured. A 50-year-old man drove his car straight ahead in a slight right-hand bend on Sunday for previously unknown reasons and collided with an oncoming vehicle, the Soest police said. The man and the 51-year-old driver of the second car were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. A 19-year-old first aider suffered a shock and was cared for by the rescue workers on site.
