Schwelm (dpa / lnw) – Two people were seriously injured in an accident on Autobahn 1 near Schwelm (Ennepe-Ruhr district). A car and a van collided on Monday afternoon, according to the fire department. The driver of the van was able to exit the vehicle on his own. The driver was not pinched, but an injury to the spine could not be ruled out. Therefore, the roof of the car was cut off and the driver was carefully freed from the car. Both drivers were taken to a hospital.
