Mönchengladbach (dpa / lnw) – During an ongoing rescue operation, an unknown person stole the mobile phone of a seriously injured man in Mönchengladbach. A 50-year-old fell so badly on Tuesday that the crew of an ambulance had to treat him urgently. The rescue workers put the injured person’s cellphone aside. A passer-by recognized this, took the cell phone and ran away, the police said on Wednesday. Investigators are now hoping for clues from witnesses.
