Hagen (dpa / lnw) – Because a craftsman had to turn off the water to work in an apartment building in Hagen, there was a physical argument with a resident. After he addressed the situation in the basement and initially only a verbal argument arose, he is said to have grabbed the 22-year-old craftsman’s neck, the police said on Thursday. The man is said to have told him that he could stab him “here and now”. The worker then grabbed the 31-year-old man and brought him to the ground.
After the argument on Wednesday, the resident left the house, according to the information. The police initiated criminal proceedings against the man for assault. The craftsman suffered minor scratches, a spokesman said.
