Cologne (dpa / lnw) – After a woman in Cologne was critically injured with a kitchen knife, a murder commission is investigating her suspected husband. According to initial findings, the two 34-year-olds are said to have gotten into an argument in the shared apartment, the public prosecutor’s office and the police announced on Thursday. The man allegedly took a kitchen knife and attacked his wife during the conflict on Wednesday evening. She was taken to the hospital and underwent emergency surgery. The 34-year-old was arrested by police at the scene. The background initially remained unclear.
